30 minute lesson. A course designed for first time voice students no matter what age!
PRIVATE VOICE INSTRUCTION I
30 minute lesson. This course will be instructor invitation only after at least one satisfactory semester of introduction to singing or an equivalent auditioned level placement. Being invited to this course secures a place in the Davis Performing Arts Studio. You will be expected to perform at all required events and recitals as well as advance in your vocal studies independently.
INTERMEDIATE VOICE INSTRUCTION II
45 minute lesson. Invitation with proper advancement. You will be expected to perform at all required events and recitals as well as advance in your vocal studies and music theory knowledge independently. This knowledge will be tested in order to advance to the next level of instruction.
ADVANCED VOICE INSTRUCTION III
1 hour lesson. This course is designed for advanced singers only who have distributed superior performance ability and satisfied a minimum of Level 3 music theory knowledge and vocal performance. You will be expected to perform at all required events and recitals as well as advance in your vocal studies and music theory knowledge independently. Instructor Invitation only.
INTRODUCTION TO PIANO
30 minute private lesson. A course designed for first time piano students no matter what age!
PRIVATE PIANO INSTRUCTION
This course is an invitation only after at least one satisfactory semester of introduction to piano or an equivalent application and arranged auditioned level placement. Being invited to this course secures a place on the DPAS Wall of Fame and a place in Melissa Davis’ Performing Arts Studio. You will be expected to perform at all required events and recitals as well as advance in your studies independently. Lesson time dependent on age of student and recommendation of instructor.

MUSICAL THEATER AUDITION PREP

“Do you have those pre-audition jitters? Let me help guide you through my roadmap to audition preparation! I have designed a curriculum for a 4 class session of 1 hr each, that will focus on strengthening confidence, stage presence, base knowledge of the show that you are auditioning for. Individual tailored vocal lessons. Small Group offered upon request. We will work together to prepare your material while diving into the characters of the show and driving emotions to help you execute the perfect audition! As your instructor, you can feel secure knowing that I have extensive acting, performing, AND directing experience and will help you perform like a STAR! NOTE: You must provide all audition material and information no less than 2 weeks prior to the arranged lesson.
